Print Feature: Acne Paper - The Actress - 15th Issue

This weeks feature sets the bar high and quite frankly... we have yet to see another publication of it's kind come close. It's one of our personal favorites and we wanted to make sure we shared it with you.

Acne Paper represents Acne Studios in the best way possible. It is a tangible way to see the value in quality work, living beyond a digital screen.

Within lies bold editorials, stark type and insightful words. Issue 15 dives into the persona, and identity of 'the actress'. What it means to be an actress, why the public's idealized perception can be conflicting, and how their role has evolved over the last several decades. As well as giving context to what 'the actress' has done for the fashion industry and how they have influenced trends. Acne Paper—Issue 15 is well worth the read and tracking down a copy. Sadly, the magazine as a whole has been discontinued and they are no longer publishing new issues. However, you can still order the 15th Issue on their site, here.

Enjoy your weekend everyone and we hope to spur on a love for the tangible and a desire for quality.

"Garbo's style was so straightforward, so beautiful and so modern. You really feel she was inventing a style, a way of being that was so completely at odds with her era."

We see value in being well-read individuals. Not merely as a means of expanding our own views but as an opportunity to slow down, exhale, and start again.
